A very very heavy band,nine members...I was once into their music I loved the sound and enjoyed the adrenaline..I still listen to some of their songs yet,I do not support any of their choices..The album which I enjoy the most is "All Hope is Gone" yet there are a few songs on it I don't listen to..where they scream satanic..they have many curse words in their lyrics...does it make me stop listening to them all together? No. All I have to do is simply listen to the songs I like such as 'Snuff or Dead Memories.' However recently I prefer to listen to somewhat softer music..Slipknot is not something in my everyday music choice..
Marilyn Manson...popular for rumors of him being a "Preist in the Church of Satan." when simply he his an artist..I like a few of his songs..again his music is not my everyday choice,he does have many satanic songs and well he's given a reason for all of the rumors,songs such as "Antichrist Superstar." or "Personal Jesus." So many more can be named,yet their names are not very..shall we say appropriate..many satanic symbols such as the "Descending Cross" appear in his videos..and Nazi Symbols also appear in his videos.. yet he is not a preist in the church of satan..and as I have said so many times before it is not our place to judge.
Motley Crue..prolly one of my favorite bands of all time..they aren't popular for being religious..which is good cause they won't have fans because they're christian or because they're not..but fans who love the music they give us..giving songs like "Smokin' in the Boys Room" "Same Ol' Situation." "Too Young,To Fall in Love" "Kickstart My Heart." "Wildside" and so many more great songs..Though they did have a bout with satanic lyrics with a few of their songs..when the drugs they were doing simply pushed them overboard and soon Back Vocalist/Bass Player,Nikki Sixx,would have an out of body experience..and he soon after that put away the drugs and opened his Charity "Running Wild in the Night" to keep troubled Teens and Young Adults off of drugs and in a healthy home.Their music changed slightly over the years...and I love the music however these are still not wonderful people,They haven't changed that much yet..they have a few bad songs and have those wonderful songs.
