Symbol of Religions

Greetings all,

I haven't posted in a long time and apologize but recently my site shows the most visits to the Religious Symbols area,where symbols are divided up into sections of "Christian,Satanic (Occult),Pagan,Wiccan,and then a section telling about the commonly mistaken symbols,so below are symbols and beneath the symbols I will tell you what knowledge I have of that symbol and what religions it can be found in.



The "Descending" Pentagram- This particular version of the Pentagram is used by The Church of Satan,the symbols around it mean "Leviathan" which is one of the many names of Lucifer.




Wiccan/Pagan Pentagram-This particular version of the Pentagram is used to symbolize the five elements,Spirit;Fire;Water;Earth;and air,and is a very positive symbol in the Wiccan and Pagan Religions.


Commonly mistaken for the Pentagram the Masonic Five Pointed Star-The five-pointed star is found on most Masonic memorabilia and represents the blasphemous resurrection rite of the five points of fellowship, each point mystically symbolizing a part of the resurrection act. First - Foot to foot. Second - Knee to knee. Third - Hand in hand. Fourth - Breast to breast. Fifth and last - Left hand behind back.


The Cross-This is the most popular symbol of Christianity,its meaning is The Ressurection of Christ,and there for used as the symbol for Christians everywhere.



The Descending Cross is used by the Occult and Satanists,it is the opposite of the Christian cross,claiming that it was Satan who was ressurected not Jesus,or that it was all fake,and the such.


The Yin-Yang is not a religious symbol though many have adopted it,it simply means Balance.



The Heartagram,this symbol is from the popular Finnish Rock Band H.I.M. which is not a Christian or Satanic Band,the symbol means In Love and Death,the song they wrote for it is "When Love and Death Embrace." Hence the Pentagram and the Heart,this symbol is easily called Satanic though it has no religious meaning what so ever,it is like the new version of the Yin-Yang's "Balance."


Used by Marilyn Manson and the Church of Satan,this symbol is one of the worst,is stands for the "Anti-Christ." Having the similar Hebrew Symbols as the Pentagram spelling out "Leviathan."Blazoned on podium and banners displayed for the Antichrist Superstar performance since the Dead to the World tour.

Although not technically a cross, the Chi Rho invokes the crucifixion of Jesus as well as symbolizing his status as the Christ. There is early evidence of the Chi Rho symbol on Christian Rings of the third century.

Three Days Grace.

Ah,Three Days Grace,one of my favorites.The lead singer just has pure talent,wonderful voice..But don't be fooled by the name..Three Days Grace agree's with so many other bands that they don't think their religion should be advertised..another reason I like them..The band originated as a Classic Rock Band from 1992 called 'Groundswell' and later was disbanded.In 1997 they returned with 'Three Days Grace' which refers to the saying "If you had three days to change something in your life,could you do it?" so that was the birth of Three Days Grace.They are another one of those bands to listen to with an open mind.

Songs I would refer to you if you were new to Three Days Grace is,Never too Late,Home,Animal I Have Become,I Hate Everything About You. (And then you could venture out..on your own.)

A very very heavy band,nine members...I was once into their music I loved the sound and enjoyed the adrenaline..I still listen to some of their songs yet,I do not support any of their choices..The album which I enjoy the most is "All Hope is Gone" yet there are a few songs on it I don't listen to..where they scream satanic..they have many curse words in their lyrics...does it make me stop listening to them all together? No. All I have to do is simply listen to the songs I like such as 'Snuff or Dead Memories.' However recently I prefer to listen to somewhat softer music..Slipknot is not something in my everyday music choice..

Marilyn Manson...popular for rumors of him being a "Preist in the Church of Satan." when simply he his an artist..I like a few of his songs..again his music is not my everyday choice,he does have many satanic songs and well he's given a reason for all of the rumors,songs such as "Antichrist Superstar." or "Personal Jesus." So many more can be named,yet their names are not very..shall we say appropriate..many satanic symbols such as the "Descending Cross" appear in his videos..and Nazi Symbols also appear in his videos.. yet he is not a preist in the church of satan..and as I have said so many times before it is not our place to judge.


Motley Crue..prolly one of my favorite bands of all time..they aren't popular for being religious..which is good cause they won't have fans because they're christian or because they're not..but fans who love the music they give us..giving songs like "Smokin' in the Boys Room" "Same Ol' Situation." "Too Young,To Fall in Love" "Kickstart My Heart." "Wildside" and so many more great songs..Though they did have a bout with satanic lyrics with a few of their songs..when the drugs they were doing simply pushed them overboard and soon Back Vocalist/Bass Player,Nikki Sixx,would have an out of body experience..and he soon after that put away the drugs and opened his Charity "Running Wild in the Night" to keep troubled Teens and Young Adults off of drugs and in a healthy home.Their music changed slightly over the years...and I love the music however these are still not wonderful people,They haven't changed that much yet..they have a few bad songs and have those wonderful songs.

Stereotypes

A big issue with Teens today..and myself alike..we all want to fit in with a certain group however we want nothing to do with certain others..Music plays a huge roll in all stereotypes..while some are choosing Punk,Emo,Scene,Chav,Goth and so on..many teens fall so far into these so called stereotypes they loose sight of god..and themselves..I even can agree I have done this I lost sight of who I really was about three years ago..but what does that matter when technically I can be anyone I want to be..one day I could wake up Goth,the next I could be a Chav..now some people have told me and even asked me..."Can you still be a christian and be a member of a so called stereotype?" and I said "Of course..I am..some people will even add Christian to the begining of their chosen steriotype and eventually these become new groups following a certain religion.. a prime example is the Christian Goth's.. http://www.christiangoth.com/ where a goth has decided to follow the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ..

So now a big question is..how do I join these groups...well you don't just join them..usually all you have to do is find the group which is most likely to your own self and talk to some of them..and then soon enough you may have more friends than you can count..oh don't you love the world today..where we are split into groups..when we should be gathering as one..listen to me..rambling on...

Goths and Emo's are almost allways associated with drugs and Satan..yet I was told by my friends there were Emo's at a Skillet concert and they had their hands in the air praying along with everyone else..and some people even associate them with Cults..and you can't do this..where as some of the members of these stereotypes may be Cultist and/or Satanic we cannot say all of them are..

My most important thing I wanted to say was something I hear so many so called "Saints" say "We were not sent to judge..it is not our place." but yet if someone walked into the church with a bright neon green mohawk dressed in all black,chains hanging on his pants and what not..they would be the people to say "That person is probrobly on drugs.." or "Look at that hooligan.." and so they are hypocrites..I hate to say it but technically everyone is a hypocrite..so lets not judge..because it isn't our place..let them sort out their life with god,you can help them..but don't pressure them..I have found when pressuring someone into a religion can make them take the opposite path..or not fully believe because it wasn't their choice to be there in the first place..

HIM and the Heartagram

Is the heartagram really evil? or is it a positive symbol..so I did some research and found out..from multiple sites..these include ask.com wikianswers.com urbandictionary.com...and I was wrong on both accounts..I am a christian..and I do not believe the heartagram to be a negative symbol and I don't believe HIM is really that bad of a band..but everyone has their on oppinion..but it stands the Heartagram is simply a bands symbol which means Good and Evil..because HIM songs are love songs..and not songs about hate,pain,or worshipping satan..I recently read Alice Cooper:Golf Monster and he believes like I do..there are satanic bands out there but it all depends on the lyrics so again research and lyrics are a good place to start.. Well known Satanic Band 'Behemoth' lyrics contained many point blank like this 'cold winds of doom prevail7 horns sing the prophecy glory to the darkest depth revelate my eternal prayer' were as HIM had many like 'She is smiling like heaven is down on earth Sun is shining so bright on her And all her wishes have finally come true And her heart is weeping. This happiness is killing her.' which is not screaming satan at all...as the devil is all hate..no love..I find it hard to beileve that HIM could be satanic when all of the songs they sing are love songs..I don't want to push people to think they are wonderful christian band...they're not..but I will defend them from being called something there not..matter of fact most Finnish don't believe in religion at all..and Ville Valo (Lead Singer) claims himself not to follow a religion but his dreams.

The Heartagram is a symbol of the Genre HIM created,called Love Metal..it meaning is of Good and Evil Balanced out..with a source of light..such as love as you hear about "God's Love" and God is no doubt the good guy..so the symbol of the Heart came into play..yet there had to be some sort of evil..because you never have a good guy without a bad guy and vice versa so the negative pentagram came into play..which is the symbol of Lucifer or Satan..who is definately the bad guy..so put them together..the heart and the pentagram..it is at balance..so technically you can make the symbol whatever you want..I see it as its true meaning..Love Metal. Some see it as just the symbol for the Finnish Rock Band HIM,some see it as a Heart with a triangle in it..some see it as a star with a heart in it...and some see it as the Mark of the Beast..so yeah..its all up to you....what do you believe? I'm looking at it from my point of veiw.
